At the end of May, I was working near Aqaba, Jordan and had the opportunity to explore the Ceder Pride and tank wrecks along the Jordanian costline just south of Aqaba.

The Ceder Pride was a Lebanese freighter that suffered extensive fire damage in 1982. Shortly after the vessel was deliberately sunk to create an artificial reef. The ship rests on its port side at a maxiumum depth of about 90 feet.

South of the Ceder Pride is the well known tank wreck. The military vehicle turned artificial reef is actually an M40 anti-aircraft tracked vehicle that was scuttled in September 1999.
